Pack early and then re-pack. Re-pack again. Keep eliminating. You’re probably not going to the moon and can buy clothing, books, toiletries and even electronics wherever you are. Bags on wheels don’t work well in 3rd world countries where there are pot holes and cobblestones and ditches and myriad obstacles on sidewalks and streets. A small backpack that can fit under the seat in front of you on the plane will make your life much easier on the road. Go light!
